I’m a Ph.D. student in philosophy at the University of Aberdeen. My research is in the area of metaphysics, with an emphasis on material objects, personal identity, composition, persistence, and spacetime.
I’m also a paper asset investor, and I previously owned a law firm and managed a team of lawyers engaged in state and federal litigation.
I earned my B.A. in philosophy (summa cum laude, with honors, phi beta kappa) and my J.D. from Syracuse University. I reside in Connecticut with my wife and two children.
Outside of philosophy and investing, I’m an avid birder and enjoy hiking and astronomy. I'm also learning Qigong and Tai chi.
